Classic Car Heritage Centre gets over £800,000 cash injection

The Arts Council England has announced that the Heritage Motor Heritage Trust is one of several museums and heritage sites in the West Midlands that have been awarded a share of over £3 million in investment.
The Trust is sited at the Heritage Motor Museum based in Gaydon, Warwickshire and funding of £811,686 will be used over a three year period to support the development of the organisation, retail products and ensuring continued public benefit from its significant collections of classic cars.
Two major events have been granted the green light included in the funding, the first in 2016 ‘Festival of the British Car’ and to follow in 2017 ‘British Motoring Treasures’ as well as a scheme to help schools transportation to the venue.
A total of 108 organisations in England will receive over £17.5 million in help from the Museum Resilience Fund.
