Terms and conditions

  1. The promoter of this competition is Canopius UK Specialty Limited (the "Promoter"), 1st Floor, 1 Kings Court Business Park, Charles Hastings Way, Worcester, WR5 1JR.
  2. No purchase is necessary to enter this competition.
  3. The prize is a £500 voucher for a classic car 'HIRE' experience from 'www.classiccarhire.co.uk'. Travel is not included to pick up the car. There is no alternative prize and no cash alternative. The prizes are non-transferable and exclude any additional costs and expenses. The winner is responsible for all applicable taxes and expenses not specified in description of the prize above.
  4. The prize must be redeemed by 31st December 2016.
  5. The prize cannot be transferred to another person and the prize winner must be the lead booker.
  6. Competition open to residents of England, Scotland and Wales over the age of 25 and under 75 with the exception of employees of Cherished Vehicle Insurance and Canopius Group Companies, their immediate families, agents or anyone else associated with the administration.
  7. The winner of the competition must meet hiring car company’s Terms and Conditions which, amongst other things, require that the driver must have held a British driving license for the past 5 years. Must not have had more than 1 accident in the past 3 years. Driver must have no more than 6 points on their license.
  8. A security deposit will be payable by the winner to the selected hire company which will be fully refunded providing no damage is caused to the hire vehicle.
  9. The competition closes on 6th October 2015 at midday.
  10. The winner will be selected at random from voters choosing the most popular car and notified by no later than 12th October 2015.
  11. If the winner of the competition submitted their entry via Facebook or Google+, they will be notified by email with details of how to claim their prize.
  12. The winner will be notified by email by no later than the 12th October 2015 and the winner consents to be named on Facebook, after they have been contacted by the Promoter.
  13. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
  15. All entrants must be willing and consents to participate in publicity should they be a winner. If the winner submitted their entry via Twitter, they will be mentioned in a tweet from Cherished Vehicle Insurance If via Facebook then they will be mentioned in a Facebook post from Cherished Vehicle Insurance.
  16. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to cancel, modify or supersede the competition if, in their sole discretion, the competition is not capable of being conducted as specified in the competition rules.
  17. By supplying us with your personal and business information, you are providing consent for the Promoter to contact you by post, telephone, mobile, email, text messaging or other electronic means to offer our range insurance related services in the future. At that time, the Promoter will provide you with a means of opting-out and, in addition, you can contact them to have your details removed from lists used for direct marketing purposes.
  18. This competition is in no way endorsed by Facebook, Twitter or Google+ and/or their partners.
  19. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  20. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
